Dear friends,
The Riverside Faculty Association is holding a Town Hall for faculty on
4/17 (12-1:30pm, INTS 1113) as part of the AAUP’s National Day of Action
for Higher Education. In addition to this UCR event, please see the website
for many terrific virtual events throughout the day:

This will be a facilitated discussion around the following questions:
1. What urgent concerns do you have about recent actions taken by UC
leadership?
2. What urgent concerns do you have about your research, teaching,
students, and safety at UCR?
3. What does solidarity between faculty look like to you?
4. What do you need in order to feel safe and engaged in solidarity
efforts? How can UCR faculty best support each other?
5. How should UCR administrators help faculty?

We’ll have Post-It Notes on the walls where folx can write their answers
while we have the discussion. People are encouraged to come for any length
of time whenever they can.
We’ll have snacks and drinks.
