Dear Students,
Are you a UCR undergraduate interested in gaining hands-on clinical
research experience in emergency medicine? Applications to join the *Emergency
Medicine Research Associate Program (EMRAP)* for the 2025-2026 academic
year open *Sunday, December 1st*!
This program is a unique collaboration between the *UCR School of Medicine
and Eisenhower Health Emergency Department in the Coachella Valley*. As a
participant, you will work directly with Eisenhower Health emergency
medicine faculty, gaining invaluable experience in screening, recruiting,
and consenting patients for clinical studies designed to improve emergency
care.
*Key Details*:
- *Application Period*: December 1, 2024 – January 15, 2025 (Deadline:
5:00 PM PST, January 15, 2025)
- *Required Materials*: CV/Resume and Cover Letter (upload with
application)
- *Selection Process*:
- Interviews for selected applicants in January
- Final decisions communicated by February 2025
- *Program Start Date*: July 1, 2025
*Why Join EMRAP?*
- Gain clinical research experience in emergency medicine.
- Work closely with Eisenhower Health Emergency Department faculty.
- Develop skills in study design; data collection and analysis; and
professional research and clinical practices.
