Hello!
I’m an Ambassador for California EnviroVoters and am sharing an exciting
event that we are hosting at UC Merced! It would be greatly appreciated if
you could share this email out!

Hi Everyone!
We’re excited to invite you to our *Central Valley Warehousing Discussion
Panel* on *Tuesday, February 20, 2024.*
We, the EnviroVoters Ed Fund Ambassadors, are hosting a Warehousing
Discussion Panel for our WE CAN Campaign, Water Equity and Clean Air Now.
Our campaign is tackling the severe inequities surrounding water and clean
air in communities by placing young people at the forefront of our fight.
Join us in person or on zoom on February 20th to a *discussion on the
critical intersection of warehouse expansion, environmental justice, and
economic justice in the Central Valley. *Gain an understanding on how
warehousing effects our climate, and those who live nearby. The Inland
Empire has been dealing with the negative effects of warehousing for years,
and now the CV may be next. Come learn how to fight back.
We will be having five guest speakers, *Randy Villegas*, COS Professor and
VUSD School Board Member, *Madeline Harris*, Regional Policy Manager with
Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability, *Dora Hernandez*,
shafter advocate, *Alicia Valenzuela*, educator and Stockton advocate
and *Catherine
**Gudis*, UCR Professor and environmental artist.
*WHAT:* Hybrid CV Warehousing Discussion Panel
*WHEN:* Tuesday, February 20th from 5:30PM-6:30 PM
*WHERE:* UC Merced Conference Center, Room 105
5200 N Lake Rd Merced, CA 95340
*RSVP*: https://bit.ly/cvwarehouse
Invite your friends and have a community discussion! Come early and enjoy
some food, snacks, and beverages!
*This event is open to all community members in the CV and can also be
attended online.*
Registration is now open: https://bit.ly/cvwarehouse Thanks, and see you
there!
