In case you haven't seen it yet, this looks like a great opportunity for a
postdoc in environmental studies with a focus on environmental justice.
Very best,
Michelle

*In the spirit of Rupert and Jeanette Costo’s founding relationship to our
campus, we at UCR would like to respectfully acknowledge and recognize our
responsibility to the original and current caretakers of this land, water
and air: the Cahuilla, Tongva, Luiseño, and Serrano peoples and all of
their ancestors and descendants, past, present and future. Today this
meeting place is home to many Indigenous peoples from all over the world,
including UCR faculty, students, and staff. We are grateful to live and
work on these homelands as we work towards making the campus a decolonized
and more equitable place for all beings; engaging and recognizing Cahuilla,
Tongva, Luiseño, and Serrano peoples and their sovereignty, history,
language, and knowledge production in meaningful ways and on their terms;
and striving towards healing the injustices caused by the University of
California system.*
