[Sa-staff] Staff Representation needed for the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Intercollegiate Athletics (CACIA)

Dear Staff,
I am looking for 2-3 staff members who would be willing to serve on the
Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Intercollegiate Athletics (CACIA). From
the names submitted, the Chancellor will invite one staff representative to
join the committee. Please make sure to receive your supervisor's approval
before putting your name in the hat.

If you are interested, please let me know by Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The
first 3 people to respond will have their information sent to the
Chancellor.


*Details are as follows*
The CACIA serves as an advisory body to the Chancellor and supports the
strategic oversight, sustainability, and institutional integration of
intercollegiate athletics at UC Riverside. The committee helps strengthen
campus and community support for athletics, promotes student-athlete
well-being and academic success, and fosters collaboration across the
university community.

*Meeting Expectations*

   - Meetings are expected to occur quarterly
   - Participation will be primarily in person, with virtual participation
   available as needed
   - Term length: approximately 1–2 years
