Hey Highlanders!

We have some announcements of interest and would like to hear your thoughts
on flexible work options. Additionally, we invite you to join a study group
focused on meaningful discussions about Teaching for Black Lives.

*Exploring Flexible Work at UCR: Share Your Thoughts*
As part of the Chancellor's Making Excellence Inclusive 24/25 Cohort team
on Flexible Work, we are gathering information to understand the interest
and participation in flexible work schedules among UCR staff. Your insights
are crucial for us to better understand employee needs.

This survey
<https://ucriverside.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ahpcxEKGBy8YNts> is
confidential. We are NOT collecting your email address, and there's no
sign-in required for UCR programs. Your responses will be used strictly for
measuring interest and participation. Should you wish to be contacted about
flexible work information at UCR, you'll have the choice to provide your
email at the survey's conclusion.

*Study Group at UCR: Teaching for Black Lives*
Teaching for Black Lives study group at UCR, sponsored by the Zinn
Education Project. This group invites faculty and staff to read, reflect,
and build community around centering Black students’ lives and histories
across campus. The group will meet once a month starting in September.
Before that, I’m hosting a brief info session via Zoom the third week of
June to share details about time commitment and participation.

Please circulate this invitation with your respective departments. Anyone
interested can fill out this quick interest form
