A note of thanks

As we count down the final weeks of this year, we just want to pop in to say – we’re thankful for you! We’re exceedingly grateful to everyone who’s made Staff Assembly and all of its programs possible to help improve the lives and livelihoods of UCR staff. I also want to say how excited I am to continue to engage in the most important work of all, which is to ensure that every staff member here at UCR is recognized, heard and has a chance to succeed.

Although there have been many challenges this year, UCR Staff Assembly — with our Society ’54 support — has continued to provide high-quality, engaging programming, scholarships to staff, and assist with crucial programs like Staff Pantry. We offer UCR staff professional and social opportunities unavailable to them by any other means.

CUCSA visit to UCR

The Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) consists of more than a dozen Staff Assemblies throughout the University of California system and we couldn’t be more excited to host the delegation from November 30-Decemeber 02. Our thanks to Amy Metcalf at UCR ARTS and Wendy Simmons at Dining Services, who have graciously agreed to open up their event spaces for us to convene the system-wide delegation.
