Staff Assembly Virtual 5K - DEADLINE EXTENDED

Open until Friday, May 28th!

Virtual

Participants can do any physical activity, any time between March 29 - May 28, 2021, anywhere they choose. You can work out in your neighborhood, with your dog, on a treadmill, in your living room -- almost anywhere! (Please remember to adhere to all social distancing measures as required by your county.)

This event is for everyone, no matter your fitness level. It's a fun way to get creative with your friends and family, and support UCR's Staff Assembly!

Spring General Meeting

Join us on Wednesday, May 19, at noon for the Spring Staff Assembly General Meeting and Service Award Recognition Ceremony. We will have Chancellor Wilcox as our featured speaker and comments from Juan Herrerra, Associate Director of Advocacy & Institutional Relations. We will also officially introduce the 2021-22 Staff Assembly Executive Board!

We will also recognize our fellow UCR staff members for their service milestones and retirements. If you are scheduled for recognition be sure to complete the registration form!

Community Partner Week
May 24th - May 28th

Sponsored and organized by UCR Staff Assembly, the 2021 Community Partner Week (CPW) invites companies and organizations to the UCR campus to demonstrate their products and services to the staff, faculty and students of UCR. It's a great opportunity for organizations to connect with individuals in over 200 UCR departments who purchase more than $60 million annually in products and services.

During the five day event, participants will be able to engage with vendors both on and off of UCR's campus. The event will take place on the Whova event platform.

As of today, 2021 Community Partner Week will feature a number of on and off campus vendors. Participants who engage will have many opportunities to receive raffle prizes throughout the week. And the best part: It's all free!

Staff Assembly Crowdfunding Campaign
Open Now - June 1st!

In anticipation of the 2021-22 year, UCR's Staff Assembly is holding a limited time crowdfunding campaign. We are hoping to secure 100 donors to enroll in monthly donations of $5.40 (that's like one fancy cup of coffee for the month!).

This monthly gift will support UCR Staff in countless ways, including professional development and event programming such as Thank Goodness For Staff Week.

In response to the popularity of last December's ice bucket video<https://www.facebook.com/255122481861/videos/2774513949433939>, Staff Assembly President Dennis McIver has agreed to restore the "Embarrass Dennis" campaign! The more donors that join, the more embarrassing videos you'll see on our social media!
