Holiday Crafts with Staff Assembly

Join Co-Directors of Events Valerie and Ashley as they lead you in holiday fun! Fun for the whole family! Create your own holiday ornament or sculpture using DIY salt dough. See our DIY Salt Dough recipe below.

DIY Salt Dough Recipe

Ingredients

  *   1 cup salt
  *   1 cup flour
  *   1/2 cup water

Directions

Preheat the oven to 200°F. Add all ingredients into the bowl. Use your hands or whisk to mix. Mix until well combined. Flatten the ball of dough into a circle and press your hand into the dough.

Create a small hole at the top of the dough to put string through and hang later. Place mold onto a baking sheet and bake for 2 hours. Let mold cool and paint handprint, if desired.

Put string through hole and hang or frame.

Buy your favorite cookies or make your own! We are decorating holiday cookies with the one and only Chef Val. She'll show you decorating tips, frosting tricks and so much more. Bring the kids because this event is fun for the whole family. Feel free to bring extras to the party like sprinkles, chocolate chips, and other decorations. Make sure to purchase or make your cookie before the event!

Virtual Meeting


Bring your drinks and snacks from the Holiday Cocktail hour and join Staff Assembly's Director of Finance Penni Ebina and President Dennis McIver for monthly Virtual Bingo! The event will also include participants from UCPath and UCDC.



There will be two sessions: A Matinee session from 12:00 - 1:00 pm and the normal session from 6 to 7:30. To sign up, please register by December 9th!
