> UCR holds institutional membership in the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD). The NCFDD is a nationally-recognized independent organization dedicated to supporting faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate and professional students, particularly those from historically under-represented backgrounds, in making successful transitions throughout their careers. NCFDD provides online career development, training, and mentoring resources. Faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate/professional students can access online programming offered by NCFDD, an external mentoring community. UCR's institutional membership provides the opportunity to hold individual membership accounts at no cost to join.

> How to Activate Your UC Riverside Sponsored Individual Membership:
> 
> Go to the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity website (https://www.ncfdd.org/home) to learn more about the NCFDD.
> Go to https://www.ncfdd.org/membership and select the “Join or Activate Membership.” 
> Scroll down to the "Activate Your Individual Membership Account" and within the list of universities, click on "University of California, Riverside."
> Complete the registration form by following all instructions. Be sure to provide your UCR email address.
> Once you have submitted your registration information and NCFDD has approved your connection to UC Riverside, you should receive a welcome email.

> Historically Successful Programs with Additional Costs:
