[RPA-PostDoc] Early Career Scientist Symposium: program and guidelines

Good morning you all,


We want to remind you about our 2023 Early Career Scientist Symposium *at
the Genomics Auditorium on Friday, June 9th, from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm*. You
can find the program attached to this email and on our website.

Awards will be announced at the end of the event, so winners must be
present to receive them. The best oral presentations will be awarded with
$500, $300, and $200 transferred to the winner’s department for
research-related expenses. The best three poster presentations will be
awarded a *$75* gift card.


*Instructions for oral presenters:*

1. Please arrive early during the registration (8:30 am) to upload your
presentation into the auditorium computer.

2. You will have 20 minutes for your talk (including ~5 min for questions).
The session chair will raise their hand to indicate you have 5 and 2
minutes left.

guidelines for preparing your presentation, facilitating the audience to
ask questions.


*Instructions for poster presenters:*

1. Please arrive early during the registration (8:30 am) to place your
poster on the designated poster panel. If you cannot do so, you will have
the chance to place your poster during lunchtime.

2. Here <https://rpa.ucr.edu/page/symposium-guidelines/> are some general
guidelines for preparing your poster presentation.
