Subject: CRI Postdoctoral Fellowship Stipends Increased to $240,000+.
Deadline March 1.
To: Ryan Godfrey <RGodfrey at cancerresearch.org>

Hello,

For more than 50 years, the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) has been
committed to training the next generation of scientists and future leaders
in immunology and immuno-oncology. CRI-funded postdoctoral fellows have
been essential to driving discoveries in basic and tumor immunology. The
need to attract and retain new postdoctoral scientists has never been more
critical to helping CRI achieve its mission to save more lives with
immunotherapy and realize its vision of a world immune to cancer.

Funding for academic research and providing sustainable income to young
scientists is perhaps more necessary than ever. CRI remains committed to
being a leader in advancing opportunities for fellows to complete their
training and research under the guidance of world-leading scientific
mentors.

CRI is therefore increasing the stipend for newly awarded postdoctoral
fellows as of the March 1, 2023, deadline. The new stipend is $228,000, up
from $171,000. Postdoctoral fellows also receive $15,000 in institutional
allowances over three years along with additional support to attend CRI’s
annual International Cancer Immunotherapy Conference (CICON), and to
participate in CRI’s soon-to-be-launched Bioinformatics Bootcamp.

There are three tracks within the CRI Postdoctoral Fellowship Program:

   - CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
   - CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship Program to Promote Racial
   Diversity
   - CRI Immuno-Informatics Postdoctoral Fellowship

Through this program CRI provides critical financial support and continued
career training to the most promising young scientists in basic and tumor
immunology. We encourage you to distribute this information, along with a
link to our website, to all postdoctoral candidates and fellows within your
institution.
