[RPA-PostDoc] GoFundMe for a UCR postdoc

Hello everyone,

We are shocked by the news that a recently appointed postdoc, Oladipo
Obembe, suffered a tragic, near-fatal accident with low expectations for a
recovery. Please find below the message from Prof. Anil Deolalikar, Dean of
the School of Public Policy, regarding a fundraising to help Oladipo's
family to come from Nigeria to see him:

We are launching a *GoFundMe* initiative for Oladipo (Dipo) Obembe, who
started as a visiting scholar (to work with Ariel and Mehdi) at SPP just
three weeks back. He and his family are originally from Nigeria, and moved
here last month for a two-year stint. Unfortunately, Dipo met a near-fatal
drowning accident two days back, and is currently on a ventilator in an ICU
in a trauma center in San Bernardino. His wife and three young children are
in an unfamiliar city with no family or friends around, and need immediate
financial assistance to bring his parents and sister over from Nigeria so
they can see Dipo before he passes away (he has been declared brain-dead
but being kept alive on a ventilator).
