<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#0E101A">The purpose of this message is to address some concerns regarding upcoming changes for proposal submissions and clarify the process to be followed during a transition period.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#0E101A">UC Riverside is transitioning to cloud-based research applications by Kuali to standardize the processes for research proposals, awards and subaward administration, and documentation across various departments.
Kuali is an integral part of Impact23; it will go live on July 5, 2023, and integrate with Oracle Project Portfolio Management. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="color:#0E101A">The implementation of the new Kuali Research system will unavoidably require a transition period from the current PAMIS system in mid-June to the new one. Research and Economic Development
is fully aware of the inconvenience this will unfortunately create. Hence, to minimize the effects of this transition period on proposal submissions and taking in consideration feedback received from the senate leadership and several faculty members following
the first communication on the subject by the Impact23 group, the attached transition processes will be implemented and is also located on the SPA Webpage at
