Brain Research Foundation 2027 Seed Grant Program

The Brain Research Foundation’s Seed Grant Program provides $100,000 over
two years to jumpstart innovative, unfunded neuroscience projects at
invited U.S. institutions. Designed to generate pilot data for future NIH
funding, it supports full-time Assistant Professors launching new research
and Associate Professors exploring entirely new scientific directions. The
grant studies brain function in health and disease, prioritizes high-merit
ideas, and strictly prohibits bridge funding or project overlaps.
