Join us for the 2025 Department of Defense (DoD) Institutions of Higher
Education (IHEs) Opportunities Workshop and Intern Symposium: Expanding the
Competitiveness and Research Capacity at IHEs.


This free, two-day event brings together faculty, students, and
institutional stakeholders to explore research and workforce development
through presentations, panels, and networking sessions.


Attendees will gain insight into DoD programs, learn how to prepare
competitive proposals and applications, and discuss how institutional
research efforts can align with the President's Executive Orders and DoD
priorities.


Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.
Workshop Goals:

   - Raise awareness of DoD opportunities, facilitate collaboration, and
   promote engagement in DoD initiatives that support national security
   functions.
   - Discuss the President's Executive Orders and DoD priorities and how
   the research programs will maintain alignment.
   - Provide a live demonstration of the NEW DoD SciTechCONNECT portal—an
   online platform designed to foster connections, inspire new ideas, and
   drive impactful solutions.
