One correction to yesterday's announcement about the MRPI awards: the names of the PIs for the awards for UCR as host campus (B. Bar and R. Zandi) have been accidentally switched.  It should have been

Bar, Boris:  Strengthening honey bee health and crop pollination to safeguard food availability and affordability

Zandi, Roya:  UC Coronavirus Assembly Research Consortium

My apologies for the confusion, I should have double checked before forwarding UCOP's message. Thanks to Markus Kaul, one of the co-PIs in the Coronavirus Consortium, for spotting the error.

Dear Research Community,

I am very glad to share in the attached file all of the 2021 UC Multicampus Research Programs and Initiatives (MRPI) awards that involve UCR's PIs.  Thank you to all those who participated in the competition and congratulations to the awardees. I can tell you that this was a very competitive solicitation and that UCR did very well in it.
