<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">The National Science Foundation (NSF) Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Activity serves to increase access to multi-user scientific and engineering instrumentation for research and training in our Nation's institutions
of higher education and for not-for-profit scientific/engineering research organizations. MRI supports the acquisition or development of a multi-user research instrument that is, in general, too costly and/or not appropriate for support through other NSF programs.
MRI is a Foundation-wide Program to fund instruments generally in the range from $100,000 up to and including $4 million (see solicitation for exceptions)<i>.</i> Recently, solicitation NSF 23-519 was published for the MRI program</span>.

at 1:00 p.m. EST and have two parts: 1) Session 1: a general MRI information session (1:00 p.m. -1:45 p.m. EST), followed by 2) Session 2: a Question and Answer Session.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
