*Happy Research Administrator Day!*

September 25th is National Research Administrator Day — a day to celebrate
the vital contributions made by research administrators to the university
research enterprise.

Long days, intense deadlines, nuanced rules, and lots and lots of
acronyms…. This is the life of a Research Administrator. This past year,
research administrators across UC Riverside have met the challenges of
supporting the research infrastructure while navigating a changing federal
landscape. Whether you apprise research funding opportunities, evaluate
research compliance, prepare proposals, process awards, manage budgets, or
participate in any of the other myriads of tasks involved in securing and
managing sponsored funds, you have played an important role in supporting
UCR’s research mission. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!
