Multicultural Scholars Program (MSP) RFA Release
The Multicultural Scholars Program (MSP) RFA has just been posted, with a proposal deadline of March 23, 2022. The purpose of MSP is to provide scholarships to support outstanding students from groups that are historically underrepresented and underserved to pursue and complete baccalaureate degrees in food and agricultural sciences, or achieve a D.V.M. Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) 2022 Alliance Grants Program
Do you have a project idea that would help drive the State of California’s goal to accelerate the transition to safer, sustainable pest management? If so, the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) would like to invite you to apply to DPR’s 2022 Alliance Grants Program. The Solicitation period is currently open through March 10, 2022 at 5:00 pm PST! This year’s Program includes enhanced funding of $1.8 million to support the state’s goal to accelerate the adoption of sustainable pest management practices.
The Alliance Grants Program provides funding annually for projects that promote or increase the implementation, expansion, and/or adoption of effective and proven integrated pest management (IPM) systems or practices that reduce public health and environmental risks in agricultural, wildland, or urban settings.
Due to the increased funding available, the 2022 Alliance Grants Program can fund eligible projects with budgets ranging from $50,000 to $1.8 million.
