Dear Department Chairs,
As a follow up to our ongoing Winter/Spring department visits, I would
like to share two upcoming workshop series on AI literacy and
integration designed to benefit UCR faculty.
1. AI Teachtalk Series: Strategies for Cultivating Student's AI Literacy
*
A partnership between UCR XCITE Center for Teaching & Learning and the
UC Davis Center for Educational Effectiveness, this virtual series
invites participation from instructors at both UCR and UCD.
* Explore principles and strategies for bringing AI-related teaching to
your courses in a way that is authentic and relevant for your course and
your students.
* Community practice sessions will focus peer-supported activities for
building and showcasing materials that teach about and teach with AI.
This virtual series offers a supportive community of practice and
hands-on activities. UCR instructors who participate fully may be
eligible for a certificate.
Whether you're curious about AI's impact on your field or looking for
practical ways to integrate it into your teaching, we encourage you to
join us.
