Hi STEM teaching professor colleagues,
The UC-Wide Teaching Professor Network <https://tpn.ucop.edu/> has been
recently trying to find more frequent and meaningful ways for Teaching
Professors to connect with each other across the UC system and learn about
the amazing work that we are all engaged in on our campuses and in our
classrooms.
One thing we'd like to start doing is hosting a regular virtual seminar
series where we can hear from a teaching professor at a different UC campus
throughout the academic year about their current classroom innovations
and/or education research projects. Since this is a new effort that we're
hoping to continue over many academic years, we're working on building an
initial database of some interested folks that we can draw from to do more
targeted reaching out about giving talks in the series either this year or
in the future.
*If you are or would potentially be interested in participating at some
point by giving a 40 minute seminar to the network over Zoom, please let us
know by filling out this brief interest form
<https://forms.gle/quQXpugiMnxDDvXq7>.* As we draw closer to the academic
year, we'll be reaching out to respondents to discuss more details and
scheduling.
Thanks!
