RE:       Payroll Tax Treaty Renewal Process via GLACIER.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION ONLY:

The central payroll office has sent an email to the nonresident alien employee population who claimed a payroll tax treaty for calendar year 2011.

The email notice is to inform the nonresident alien of the Tax Treaty Renewal process that is needed via the GLACIER website.

Each individual nonresident alien employee who claimed a tax treaty will need to log into GLACIER then update and renew their profile in order to claim any applicable tax treaty for 2012.

The deadline for this will be December 12th.  Signed forms must be submitted to the payroll office by this date.

In the event that an individual submits the updated paperwork directly to you, please forward to the Payroll Office as soon as possible.

The email notice will give further instructions and deadlines to the nonresident alien employee in regards to this Payroll Tax Treaty Renewal update and process for 2012.
