Re: WEB PPS - Phase 2 implementation
___________________________________
As you may know, web Payroll Personnel System (PPS) phase 2, release 1953 was installed over a month ago (April 6, 2011) on the PPS production region.
The modifications include the following:
· Rehire process
· Changes to appointment and distribution data such as:
o Promotions and reclassifications
o Changes to fund source, percent of time, Title Code, Department, etc.
· Changes to employee information such as:
o Assigned BELI and BELI Effective Date
o Personal data: employee and campus address information
o Personnel data: salary review information
o Tax data: Citizenship Status, tax exemptions
The application design is based primarily on the screens and data elements available in the web PPS "New Hire" application. The EDB changes application present the same screens and data elements as the New Hire application, with minor exceptions. A user now edits and updates any and all data elements presented on the seven data screens.
We’re aware that the bank account number field under ‘Pay Disposition’ screen is not available to enter the bank account number. The work around is to use CICS PPS screen ‘ECHK’ to update bank account information. UCOP will fix this problem as part of the web PPS phase 3 releases coming this August/September 2011.
Other web PPS Phase 3 enhancements include:
ü Separation actions and related data changes
ü Leave of absence actions and related data changes
ü Intercampus transfers
Do you like the new enhancements? We would like to hear from you through webppsfeedback at ucr.edu<mailto:webppsfeedback at ucr.edu>.
Thank you
