RE:       Last Chance to affect 2010 form W-2

DECEMBER MA PAYROLL:
The final cutoff to process payroll time reporting transactions to affect
November Monthly Arrears (MA) payroll is December 1, 2010 at 7pm.  This is
also the last scheduled payroll compute for 2010 earnings that will affect
2010 form W-2.  Please, make sure payroll earnings owed to your employees
for calendar year 2010 are processed by this date.  You are highly
encouraged to process these changes on the Monthly Current (MO) payroll by
November 23, 2010.

Late pay, overtime, and corrections are adjustments which should be
processed through the Online Payroll Time Reporting subsystem "EDAT" (Dept.
Adj. Trans.).  Please use screen "EDLR" (Late/Reduce Pay) to submit your
adjustment(s). Enter "MA" on the "Pay Cycle" and 11/30/10 as the "Pay End"
when scheduling the transaction(s) to affect the MA payroll.  Remember to
use 10/31/10, 09/30/10, etc., as the pay period end date on the actual
LX/RX.   

Note: We will continue to pay employees who separate in December 2010
through the local rush check process.

UNCASHED PAYROLL CHECKS:
Please return all un-cashed Payroll checks for 2010 to the Payroll Office by
November 29, 2010.  Let us know if you want these checks canceled or
forwarded to the employees they belong to.  Please attach an RX form (UPAY
644D) on all cancellations.  This form is available online at:
http://accounting.ucr.edu/upayform.htm.
