Re:         Work Study Charges for October 2010 Earnings

The Work Study earnings limits which are pulled from the Student Information
System (SIS) to PPS didn't run successfully on October 26, 2010 as
scheduled.  The problem was identified later by Computing and Communications
and fixed after the October earnings Payroll compute.  Due to this problem,
Payroll earnings for Work Study students didn't split between the
departmental and work study fund(s).

Departments with work study students are required to use the Payroll
Expenditure Transfer process to move the applicable expenses for October
earnings to Work Study fund(s).  The  Payroll Office will contact each
Preparer on a separate e-mail with the list of employees who are coded on
PPS with work study.  Please check your Distribution of Payroll Expenditure
(DOPE)  report and see if a payroll cost transfer is needed for October
earnings.
