Re.:      Restart of Compensatory Time Off Provisions for RX and TX
Employees

Effective November 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009, UC and UPTE agree to
reinstate the compensatory time off (CTO) provisions of the expired RX
and TX contracts where such programs are currently offered. 

 

In effect, this agreement serves to revive elections made by individual
employees during the most recent annual election period. RX/TX Employees
hired after July 1, 2008 will have the option to elect CTO for the
effective period (November 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009) in accordance
with local new hire procedure. Such election should be made before the
current payroll cutoff date, November 21.
