RE:                 GENERAL LIABILITY and EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES INSURANCE
ASSESSMENT RATES (FY 2007-08)

 


 

The following assessment rates have been established to fund the General
Liability (GL) and Employment Practice (EP) Insurance Programs for the
General Campus effective July 1, 2007:

General Liability and Employment Practices

 

Due to the decreases in the General Liability and Auto Liability
premiums over last year, both the General Liability rate and the
Employment Practices rate are being decreased in 2007-2008 for Location
5. 

 

Actual charges are calculated by applying the applicable assessment rate
against salaries and wages payable associated with all DOS codes except
the following:

 

            Vacation Related (VLA, VAC, VLT, TRM, PTO, PTT)

            Sick Leave Related (SLA, SKL)

            Comp Time Related (CTA, CTO)

            Staff Recognition and Development (SRD)

 

For Location 5, assessments related to Federal Government, State
Government, Local Government, and Private Contracts and Grants will
continue to be charged against centrally held indirect cost recovery
funds.

 

The assessment rates for Location N will be provided as soon as they
become available.
