CORRECTION:

 

The $0.01 per hour or $1.74 per month Across-The-Board (ATB) increases
(item 1a & 1b below) only applies to the SX Custodian titles: Custodian,
Lead (title code 5113), Custodian, Senior (title code 5116) and
Custodian (title code 5117).  However, the one percent ATB increases
which applies to all SX titles was updated on PPS on 6/22/06.  The other
salary actions (items 2 & 3 below) will happen later this month.

Re:       Wage Increases for July earnings (paid 8/1/2006)

The following are the upcoming wage increases effective 7/1/06 which
will be paid starting 8/1/2006.  The effective date for these
transactions is 7/1/06 (per UCOP's clarification) and not 6/1/06 as
previously discussed at the PPS User's group meeting.  Please start
using the new rates from July 1, 2006.  The wage increases will be
updated automatically and you will be notified through PPS-NEWS.

 

1. Service Unit (SX) Increases (PPS Release 1707)

            a. $0.01 per hour Across-The-Board (ATB) increase to hourly
rates.

            b. $1.74 per month Across-The-Board (ATB) increase to
monthly rates.

            c. 1% Across-The-Board (ATB) increase to hourly and monthly
rates after action (a) and (b) above.

 

2. Shift Differential Range Adjustments for (Clerical (CX), Service
(SX), Technical (TX) and Research (RX) Units

            a. CX - $0.10 increase not to exceed $1.25 evenings & $2.50
night.

            b. SX - $0.10 increase not to exceed $1.25 evenings & $2.50
night.

            c. TX - $0.20 increase not to exceed $1.25 evenings & $2.50
night.

            d. RX - $0.20 increase not to exceed $1.25 evenings & $2.50
night.

 

3. Technical Unit - Campus Individual/Title Specific Increases

            a. 4% range adjustment to Animal Techs, Animal Health Techs.

            b. 2% range adjustment to Lab Asst I and Lab Asst II.

            c. 2% range adjustment to Stage Helpers, Scene Tech Series &
Projectionist Series.
