        <div>The Bates College Department of Politics is accepting
          applications for an assistant professorship with a focus on
          International or Comparative Political Economy. The successful
          candidate will also be able to offer a course in quantitative
          methods. The position begins July 1, 2026, and candidates
          should have received their Ph.D. or successfully defended
          their dissertation by that date.</div>
