[Lorena Jaramillo]

Dear Political Science Faculty and Students,

I hope you’re all doing well!

Please join me in welcoming our new *Fall 2026 cohort*! We’re excited to
have *9** new students* joining our Political Science PhD community.

Attached, you’ll find a short profile for each student, including their *field
of study and research interests*.

* If you’re on campus tomorrow (Wed, 9/23), please join us for lunch from
12–1 p.m (in Jenkin & Chairs Conf Room). as we welcome our new students! 😊*

Or, when you see our new students around campus or in class, please take a
moment to say hello and introduce yourself. We’re excited to have them join
our community!

Thank you all for helping make Political Science such a welcoming and
supportive community.
