[Poscgrad] IMPORTANT: New Contact for Purchasing & Reimbursements – Effective Immediately

Dear Faculty and Graduate Students,

We are pleased to welcome *Carla Bernasconi from the Department of
Psychology*, who will provide temporary support to the Economics and
Political Science departments with *purchasing and reimbursements*.

*Effective immediately, please send Carla your purchasing and reimbursement
requests at **carla.bernasconi at ucr.edu* <carla.bernasconi at ucr.edu>*, with a
cc to our Financial Analysts, Amy Yin and Rebecca Wu.* Amy and Rebecca will
help confirm the appropriate funding source for your requests.

If you have any pending purchasing or reimbursement requests that are not
yet complete, please forward them to Carla and copy Amy and Rebecca so she
can move them forward.

We are currently recruiting a new *Administrative Assistant* to provide
ongoing support to our departments. If the search is successful, we
anticipate our new team member beginning at the end of *October*. In the
meantime, Carla will assist with these functions to help ensure requests
continue to be processed without interruption.

We greatly appreciate Carla and the Department of Psychology for their
support during this transition. Thank you all for your patience and
cooperation!

I will send a separate email regarding event logistics for this academic
year after this one.
