Dear all,

Could you please encourage your students to apply for our departmental
Spring awards? The details can be found below. If you could announce these
in your sections and post the information on your Canvas pages, that would
be greatly appreciated. We do not have as many applications as we would
like, so we have extended the deadline to *Thursday, May 21 at 4 pm*.
Students should have also received this information by email from Kristy
Salazar Nugent.

One important note: These awards are not for graduating seniors. More
information can be found below (they are primarily intended for juniors -
Pay it Forward is open to those who will be junior next year as well).

Also, if you would like to personally encourage excellent students you know
to apply, that would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thank you, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Yasemin
