[Poscgrad] GSA End-of-Year Celebration – May 19

Dear Political Science Faculty and Graduate Students,

Please join us for the *Graduate Student Association (GSA)'s End-of-Year
Celebration *on Tuesday, May 19, from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM.

This gathering is an opportunity to celebrate the end of the academic year
and recognize important graduate student milestones and accomplishments
across the department. We will be recognizing:

   - First-year graduate students
   - Comprehensive exam takers
   - Prospectus defenders
   - Dissertation defenders
   - Recently published graduate students

The event will include brief remarks from Director of Graduate Studies
Professor Marissa Brookes, followed by *cohort photos and an informal
reception with food/refreshments*.

If you are among those listed above, please reply to confirm so we can make
sure you are included in the recognition portion of the event. In
particular, if you have recently published work, please let me know
directly. Otherwise, I will compile publications based on the department
website <https://politicalscience.ucr.edu/>.

We hope this will be a fun and meaningful opportunity to celebrate our
students and community together. We would love to see you there.
