[Poscgrad] Speaker Series: Prof. Ju Yeon (Julia) Park (May 18)

Dear all,

The Department of Political Science will be hosting Professor Ju Yeon
(Julia) Park (Ohio State University) on *Monday, May 18*. This will be our
last speaker this academic year.

Professor Park uses computational and quantitative methods to study
legislative behavior and political communication in American politics, with
a focus on politicians' stylistic choices and their electoral and policy

Professor Park will be presenting research on her ongoing book project. The
title of the talk is "Political Grandstanding: An Electoral Strategy.” The
talk will take place from *12:10 PM–1:30 PM* in *INTS 1113.  *Please see
the attached flyer for additional details.

I’m looking for one more graduate student to join the lunch with Professor
Park on May 18 (1:30-2:30 pm). If you’re interested, please let me know.
