Hello.
The Department of Political Science is pleased to host Professor Valentina
Gonzalez-Rostani (University of Southern California) on today, March 9th.
Professor Gonzalez-Rostani’s research examines how technological
change—particularly automation and artificial intelligence—shapes political
attitudes, populist movements, and political economy outcomes. You can
learn more about her work here <https://gonzalez-rostani.com/>.
During her visit, she will present her project titled *“The Political
Economy of Automation and Fragmented Production: Evidence from Mexico.”* Please
see the attached flyer and paper for additional details.
Professor Gonzalez-Rostani's itinerary is also attached.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or Professor
Miguel Carreras (carreras at ucr.edu).
Best,
Candice Jenkins
