UCOP is currently seeking applicants for the 2026-27 Bonnie Reiss Leading
on Climate Action Fellowship *(AI Sustainability Impact Project Focus). *This
fellowship will support research on sustainability and climate
considerations associated with the procurement and use of artificial
intelligence.



The ideal candidate is a *graduate-level student *with a background at the
intersection of technology, business administration, climate, and/or
environment. Relevant skills include knowledge of AI tools and uses, AI
resource footprint and ethics, and/or greenhouse gas emissions accounting.
The selected Fellow will receive a stipend of *$5,000 *over the academic
