[Poscgrad] Recruitment Job Talk: Professor Tyler Reny (April 10)

Hello all,

The Department of Political Science will be hosting *Professor Tyler Reny* from
Claremont Graduate University as part of our recruitment Jobs Talk on *Friday,
April 10th*.

Professor Reny is an assistant professor in the Division of Politics and
Economics at Claremont Graduate University.

His work uses a variety of methods and original datasets to investigate the
effects of demographic change, elites, and media on mass attitudes and
behaviors. He has published in PNAS, PNAS Nexus, American Political Science
Review, Journal of Politics, British Journal of Political Science,
Political Behavior, Public Opinion Quarterly, Comparative Political
Studies, Political Psychology, Political Research Quarterly, Politics and
Gender, Politics, Group, and Identities, among others, and has received
APSA Emerging Scholar Awards in both the Political Psychology and
Elections, Public Opinion, and Voting Behavior (EPOVB) sections.

Professor Reny will present his paper, “The Immigration-to-Reproduction
Shift: Latino Population Growth and White Support for Legal Abortion.” The
talk will take place from *11:30 AM–1:00 PM* in *SSC 123*. It will also be
available on Zoom.
