Dear colleagues,
Please see the announcement below from Noah Arjomand, who is a sociologist and PPFP fellow in MCS (and actually, an Emmy award-winning director (!)) about an open house for his media lab.
Best,
Kevin

Hello Kevin,
I hope you've had a great summer. I wanted to reach out to invite you (and any poli sci and public policy colleagues you think may be interested) to this open house scheduled for next Thursday.
Starting at 2pm, I'll give a tour of the media lab I'm now co-directing and talk about the kinds of collaboration we are hoping to explore with other academic units.
All best,
Noah

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,
I am writing to invite you to MCS Open House on Thursday October 30th between 12 and 3 PM at INTS 3156.
We are keen to explore collaborative opportunities created around our three refurbished and new labs. Our Media Lab has excellent video production and editing facilities; the Podcast Lab offers opportunities to record original audio and video digital files; and the Virtual Reality Lab with its cutting-edge technologies offers a space to research and explore virtual worlds.
We invite you to explore these spaces and share your ideas with us. Food and drinks are on offer, so please do drop by.
We are also keen to share how we have realigned our course catalogue to support thematic streams in Media Production, Media Analysis, Political Economy of Media, Media and Environment, and New Media and Computational Analysis can support our collaborations.
Sincerely,
Ruhi
