[Poscgrad] Speaker Series - Dr. Roberts (13 NOV)

  Greetings, everyone!

The department will be hosting Prof. Margaret "Molly" Roberts from UCSD on
Monday, *November 3rd*. Her research works at the intersection of political
methodology and the politics of information, with a substantive focus on
censorship and propaganda in China. Her website can be viewed HERE

She will be presenting her project, "Propaganda or Party?
TikTok's Algorithm and Pro-China Messaging." For more information, see the
attached *flyer*. There will be no manuscript for this talk.

The department will be hosting a lunch at *The Stable *with Prof. Roberts
at 1:30 PM for a small group of graduate students. If you are interested in
attending lunch (*free food*), please respond directly to this email. We
have space for *one more student*.
