Hello all,

In case you missed the PRIEC email about our fall conference, next *Friday
(Aug 1) is the deadline to submit a proposal* to present a paper or poster
at the *PRIEC conference we will host at UCR on Oct 3*. (FYI: if you are
interested in the study of race, immigration, and ethnicity, please sign up
for the PRIEC listserv by scrolling to the bottom of the PRIEC website's
home page <https://priec.org>.)

Politics of Race, Immigration, and Ethnicity Consortium (PRIEC)
Fall 2025 Meeting | University of California, Riverside
Friday, October 3, 2025

The Political Science Department at UC Riverside is pleased to host the
Fall 2025 meeting of the Politics of Race, Immigration, and Ethnicity
Consortium (PRIEC) on Friday, October 3, 2025.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of PRIEC, and we look forward to
celebrating two decades of research, collaboration, and community. We
invite submissions from scholars whose research engages with race,
immigration, and ethnicity in politics—broadly defined. We welcome papers
from all methodological and theoretical approaches and encourage
researchers submit work that is in-progress and would benefit from the
supportive, workshop-style environment PRIEC is known for. We especially
welcome submissions from junior faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and
graduate students.

Special Invitation: Undergraduate Research Poster Session

To mark PRIEC’s 20th anniversary and encourage the next generation of
scholars, we are excited to feature a dedicated poster session for
undergraduate research. We invite faculty to encourage undergraduate
students conducting original research on topics related to race,
immigration, ethnicity, or identity in politics to submit! This session
will provide undergraduates an opportunity to engage with leading scholars
and receive meaningful feedback on their work.

Deadline for undergraduate poster submissions: September 5, 2025
Notification of acceptance: September 15, 2025
