Dear Nico,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing as the Chair of the political science department at Loyola
Marymount University about a potential opportunity for (recent) graduates
or advanced ABDs.

We are seeking to hire a visiting assistant professor in American politics
for a.y. 2025-26. VAPs at LMU teach 3-3.

It is this late in the season because one of our VAPs just accepted a TT
offer elsewhere. We are therefore seeking to replace him.

I was wondering if you knew of anyone at UCR who might be interested?

Since it is very late in the season, we already have the courses on the
fall schedule that the new VAP would need to teach:


   - Intro to US Politics
   - Public Administration
   - Law, Race & Policy


We would of course be more flexible in the spring, when we would discuss
and take into account faculty teaching preferences.

I would appreciate if you could circulate this message among potentially
interested candidates or recommend possible names if anyone comes to mind.
