Dear Jennifer,

I hope you’re having a great week! I’m reaching out because Cal Poly Pomona
will be hosting a PRIEC meeting in March and we wanted to make sure it was
on your radar. Please feel free to share the call for proposals (below)
with colleagues, graduate students, and undergraduate students who might be
interested in political science research. I’m happy to answer any questions
that folks might have as well. We’re hoping you can join us!

Talk soon,

Neil

*Call for Proposals*
*Politics of Race, Immigration, and Ethnicity Consortium (**PRIEC**)
Meeting*
*March 21, 2025*
*Kellogg West Conference Center, Cal Poly Pomona*

The Politics of Race, Immigration, and Ethnicity Consortium (PRIEC) invites
submissions for its upcoming meeting hosted at Cal Poly Pomona's Kellogg
West Conference Center on *Friday, March 21, 2025*. This event is proudly
hosted by the *Weglyn Endowed Chair for Multicultural Studies* and the
*Department
of Political Science* at Cal Poly Pomona. PRIEC serves as a platform for
faculty and graduate students to present work-in-progress and engage in
constructive feedback on topics related to race, ethnicity, immigration,
and identity politics. The consortium fosters mentoring opportunities for
emerging scholars and promotes collaboration among faculty.

We welcome proposals from scholars examining the politics of race,
ethnicity, immigration, and identity from diverse perspectives. Submissions
may focus on both American and comparative contexts, and we encourage
interdisciplinary approaches, especially those centered on political
processes and outcomes. We encourage the submission of works in progress at
any stage of development, including but not limited to preliminary
proposals, presentation of evidence, data analysis, or nearly completed
projects. There may be limited funding (approximately $250) for
undergraduate or graduate students as well.

*Proposal Requirements:*

· Title of the project

· Abstract (250 words max)

· Author name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information
