[Poscgrad] Conference preparation workshops

Hello all,

Welcome back. I hope your break has gone well!

There are two major conferences coming up in the Spring (WPSA and MPSA)
that many graduate students plan on attending. Conference attendance is an
important part of your development as a scholar. As such, it is crucial to
be fully prepared so that you can get the most out of your attendance.

In preparation for these conferences, the department is sponsoring a series
of professionalization workshops for graduate students. Workshops will be
held during lunch throughout the quarter. Food will be provided for those
who attend. We are currently soliciting workshop ideas that you would like

The first workshop will be led by fellow PhD student Harry Muttram who has
volunteered to discuss making presentations in LaTeX. LaTeX is a
high-quality typesetting system commonly used for creating documents with
complex formatting, such as academic papers and presentations. If you are
