I am looking for a postdoc to work with me in my Leverhulme Trust-funded
Climate Vulnerability project based at the University of Oxford.

*Start/End*

The expected start date is *1 October 2025* (some flexibility allowed). The
position is temporary until *30 September 2027.*

*Tasks and Opportunities*

The postdoc will be part of a larger team based at Oxford and led by
Professor Federica Genovese (the Principal Investigator). The postdoc will
be embedded in the Department of Politics and International Relations,
benefitting from a very lively, research-focused academic environment.

The expected tasks include mapping fine-grained level climate change
politics in vulnerable communities around the world; preparing fieldwork in
selected countries; collecting and analyzing original survey questions,
focus groups interviews, and observational data; disseminating ongoing work at
conferences and workshops; collaborating with other affiliated members of
the project; publishing the underlying findings in top international
journals/presses.

*Ideal Candidates*

- *Essential*: PhD degree in an empirical social science (political
science, economics, sociology, or a bordering discipline) by the start of
the contract

- *Essential*: excellent skills in applied methods and state-of-the-art
research designs
