Dear professor Esterling,

I hope this email finds you well.

My name is María de los Ángeles Aldana-Mendoza I am a graduate student at
the Department of Hispanic Studies and a member of the GSA at my home
department, on behalf of which I am writing to you today.


The Association of Graduate Students in  Hispanic Studies  is organizing
its XIVI Annual Graduate Student Conference, and we would like to know if
you would share the call for papers with your students and anybody that you
think would be interested. The conference will be held on the 16th and 17th
of April, 2026, at UCR. Please find the CFP attached.

In addition to extending this invitation, we would like to ask if the
department of Political Science is willing and able to contribute to the
sponsorship of this event to help with the costs of hosting the conference
and provide an excellent experience to the attendees.
