Hi,

I wanted to forward this for those of you on the job market, but also to
make everyone aware of the EPSS listserv, which is a good resource for
information about jobs, conferences, workshops, etc. in Europe.  You can
sign up for the listserv here: https://epssnet.org/.

ECPR is another European political science association
(https://ecpr.eu/) that also has a list serve.

ECPR may be more useful for those of you who do political theory or more
qualitative work, whereas EPSS is more on the quantitative side.  But,
needlessly to say, you should subscribe to both if you think you might
consider applying for jobs in Europe.

For Latin America, this may be useful: https://careers.lasaweb.org/

Best,

Indridi

Please post this to the listserv! Thanks!

DearColleagues,

The University of Western Ontario Political Science department is
advertising tenure-track assistant professor positions in International
Politics
<https://politicalscience.uwo.ca/about_us/docs/opportunities/Advertisement_Social%20Science_PoliSci%202025%20International%20Politics%20Faculty_2025.pdf>
and Canadian or Comparative Politics
<https://politicalscience.uwo.ca/about_us/docs/opportunities/Advertisement_Social%20Science_PoliSci%202025%20Public%20Policy%20Faculty_2025.pdf>
(with expertise in public policy).

We are looking for individuals who conduct rigorous empirical research
and can deliver a range of courses across the undergraduate and graduate
programs in the department. As Western Political Science aims to be
Canada’s top destination for training in empirical research methods, the
ability to teach research methods, qualitative, quantitative, or mixed,
will be considered an asset.

If anyone has questions about the position, the department or the
university, I’d be happy to chat (over Zoom, by phone, or at APSA in
person). I can be reached at laura.stephenson at uwo.ca.

Thanks,

Laura Stephenson
