Ok — I just found out that True Screen is indeed the third party vendor that is collecting the misconduct disclosure forms that is required for all new hires. It's a new policy in the UC system that all appointments have to submit this disclosure. Among grad students, the only grad students that have to fill out a true screen form are ones who are being onboarded for the first time as a TA this quarter (spring) as well as those who have had a break in service. Students who have been a TA previously without a break will not receive this notification.

As always, please be sure to check that the URL actually points to truescreen.com before clicking on it to ensure it is not a scam.

The campus could have rolled this out better but in any case, please do fill it out.
