2025 APSA Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant (DDRIG) Period
Now Open | Deadline: June 1st

APSA encourages eligible graduate students to apply for the DDRIG, and all
faculty to share this opportunity with eligible graduate students within
their network! This National Science Foundation-funded program provides
support to enhance and improve the conduct of doctoral dissertation
research in political science. Awards support basic research which is
theoretically derived and empirically oriented.

In 2024, the APSA DDRIG program awarded and provided support to 24 PhD
candidates to enhance and improve the conduct of doctoral dissertation
