Hi all,

I figured I'd pass this along in case any of you are looking for 
experiences of this nature and might be more interested in jobs in 
industry than in academy - or just be curious about what working in 
industry might be like. It is, however, important to keep in mind that 
the time spent doing things like these is time not spent on working on 
your dissertation (or other research) - something to keep in mind.  I 
would also recommend talking to your advisor if you are thinking about 
applying.
